About the School
Boston Prep is an integrated middle school, high school, and graduate support program designed to ensure that all students thrive academically and ethically. Strong relationships serve as the foundation of our work and allow us to partner closely with both students and families as we work together to nurture academic and social emotional growth. A rigorous college preparatory academic program paired with robust supports enables all students to achieve at the highest level, get into college, and succeed in college. Since our founding class graduated in 2011, all Boston Prep graduates have been accepted to four-year colleges. Our college support program, known as the Persistence Project, offers all alumni regular, individualized coaching from alumni counselors, financial assistance, and career coaching. Notably, Boston Prep alumni earn bachelor’s degrees at a rate four times their peers.
Located in Hyde Park, Boston Prep is housed in a brand new facility that offers fully equipped science labs, a gymnasium, an onsite kitchen where all meals are freshly prepared, top of the line ventilation, and more.
School Performance
Student performance data displayed below is from Next Generation MCAS results. For more data on schools, please visit the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) website. For schools with multiple campuses, the data below represents all schools in that network, not just the single school, unless otherwise noted. If data is not shown, it is not available for that school (e.g. the school might not serve any tested grades, or be too small to publicly release its scores).
IMPORTANT NOTE: DESE did not issue school, district, or state accountability determinations for the 2019-2020 school year due to the cancellation of state assessments and school closures related to COVID-19. As a result, there is no student performance data available from the state for school year 2019-2020.
